Denstone College

School Profile: We understand that the decision to send your son or daughter to an English boarding school is a complex one. The reasons for doing so are well documented, and Denstone College offers a first-class educational experience, recognised as Excellent by the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate. We very much hope that Denstone in particular will figure in your deliberations for a number of reasons. The College is set in 100 acres on the Staffordshire / Derbyshire border, in the heart of the English countryside. Its safe campus environment, so important in these turbulent times, is however within easy reach of some of England’s major cities, and airports. Founded in 1986, the College offers a traditional co-education British education to children aged 11-18, boarding and day. Pupils are prepared for university through the English route of GCSE / IGCSE and A levels, and the vast majority achieve first choice places at a wide range of universities, approximately 50% of which are Russell Group or Times Top 20. We hope you consider a Denstone College Education; compare us with others: academically, in terms of music and sport, and finally, our fees. Achievement, confidence and happiness are central to the College philosophy, with pupils always encouraged to aim high and reach their full potential.
